Sierra Jean, born in Long Island, New York, began her musical career at an early age when she discovered at just 11 years old. This resulted in early opportunities in Los Angeles, where she collaborated with music business veterans and had amassed a sizable internet following by the time she was fourteen. Sierra unfortunately had to take a brief break from performing after receiving a diagnosis of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) in 2016. However, this strengthened her character, her determination, and changed her outlook on life. All she wanted to do was get back to a point where she can release music, and years later after a lot of hard work, she did.

The recording artist graduated from Belmont University, a renowned institution for the music business. Her education at Belmont University has been crucial in refining her skills and preparing her for the next phase of her career. Belmont’s music business production program equipped her with the tools necessary to take full creative control of her work, further shaping her identity as an artist. With these skills, Sierra Jean recently re-released one of her first singles, “all that I want,” showcasing her true sound while paying homage to the early days of her career.

Sierra Jean is focusing on leaving a lasting impression rather than merely making a return as she gets ready to release her latest project. Her new single “This Far” contemplates the feelings of hopelessness amidst adversity, ultimately deciding to continue to work hard if that is what it takes to feel differently.

Fans and newcomers alike can follow her journey on social media and streaming platforms, where they can experience firsthand the music and the message of an artist who truly embodies the spirit of resilience and creativity.
